Terms of Business
Draft for review: these terms are a working draft. The final legal text is currently being reviewed and will replace this page. Your project quote and contract always take precedence over this summary.
Who we are
Resolution Web Limited is a creative technology studio registered in England & Wales. Contact: flynn@resolutionweblimited.com.
To be added: registered company number and registered office address — being confirmed during the legal review.
Quotes and deposits
Every project starts with a written quote setting out the scope, timeline and a fixed price. "From" prices on this site are genuine starting points, not final figures — we quote properly once we understand your project. A 30% deposit confirms the project and books your slot.
Payment
The remaining balance is invoiced as set out in your quote, typically on completion or launch. Ongoing plans (website care, growth and digital-partner retainers) are billed monthly.
Scope and changes
The quote defines what's included. If you'd like something beyond the agreed scope, we'll quote for it separately before doing the work — no surprise invoices.
Ownership
Once the project is paid for, you own the website, the content and the domain. We may reuse general-purpose tools, libraries and know-how that aren't specific to your project.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide content, feedback and approvals in reasonable time, and to make sure any materials you supply (text, images, logos) are yours to use.
Third-party services
Websites depend on third-party services — hosting, domain registrars, payment providers and similar. Those services have their own terms and fees, which you contract for directly unless agreed otherwise.
Our work and liability
We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Cancellation
If a project is cancelled after work has started, we invoice for the work completed to that point; the deposit is applied against this.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
