Advanced Fabrications ran the workshop on a spreadsheet, paper tickets and memory. We built two things to fix that: a website that brings work in, and a system that runs every job from enquiry to final profit.

A site that brings work in.
Fast, clear, and specific about what the workshop does — the machines, the materials, the finish. A buyer can see they're in the right place and send an enquiry in under a minute.

The site and the system are joined.
An enquiry sent on the website appears in the office seconds later. From there it becomes a quote, then a job. It is typed once and used everywhere. That's the advantage of one team building both: they work seamlessly together.
03 / The problem
No one knew what was next.
The schedule was a spreadsheet, and it was hard to arrange. That left a disconnected view of how busy production was: everyone had their own idea of what was in production and when a job was scheduled. A serious system was needed so that everyone could be on the same page.

One system, six steps.
Each step is one screen and a couple of clicks, and every step feeds the next. Nothing is typed twice, and nothing gets lost between two people.

Pick the machines, enter the time each step takes, and the price builds itself from machine rates and materials. Or type the target price and it works backwards. Margin is visible before the quote goes out.

Nobody learns the whole system. The office gets the inbox and the calculator, the manager gets the board, and each operator gets their own job list on a phone — one tap to start, one to finish. Training takes minutes, not weeks.
