Advanced Fabrications ran the workshop on a spreadsheet, paper tickets and memory. We built two things to fix that: a website that brings work in, and a system that runs every job from enquiry to final profit.
A site that brings work in.
Fast, clear, and specific about what the workshop does — the machines, the materials, the finish. A buyer can see they're in the right place and send an enquiry in under a minute.
The site and the system are joined.
An enquiry sent on the website appears in the office seconds later. From there it becomes a quote, then a job. It then gets typed once, used everywhere. That's the advantage of one team building both, they work seamlessly together.
no one knew what was next
The schedule was a spreadsheet. Which was hard to arrange leading to a disconnected view on how busy production was, every one had there own ideas on what was in production and when a job was scheduled. a serious system was needed to put in place so everyone could be on the same page.
